The Police Fire Memorial Foundation of Yonkers has been established by active and retired Police Officers and Firefighters as a not for profit dedicated to the brave men and women of Yonkers who have given their lives in the line of duty. The Police and Fire Memorial is in Untermyer Park and Gardens. Built in 2004, it pays tribute to the City of Yonkers Police Officers and Firefighters who have died in the line of duty. It also remembers and honors Police Officers and Firefighters who were residents of Yonkers and died serving in another community.  Through a generous donation from the Marty and Iris Walshin Foundation, the City of Yonkers, and countless private donations we were able to upgrade our memorial.
